Convenience Without Changing the Factory Interior
The Lexus RX Auto Start Stop Memory Module is installed behind the vehicle’s original control area and remains hidden during normal use.
After installation, the module restores the driver’s previous auto start-stop selection when the vehicle is restarted.
Installation Video Structure
1. Interior Protection
Protect the console surfaces before removing any trim components.
Use non-marring trim tools to reduce the risk of scratches or damaged clips.
2. Console Trim Removal
Remove the required left and right trim sections according to the vehicle-specific installation procedure.
Lift the relevant console or cup-holder assembly carefully.
3. Connector Access
Locate the connector attached to the back of the idle stop-start switch.
Do not pull directly on the wires. Release the connector locking tab before disconnecting it.
4. Inline Module Connection
Connect the memory module between the original harness and the switch connector.
Check that both plugs are fully seated and locked.
5. Functional Verification
Before reinstalling all trim pieces, start the vehicle and confirm that the factory button and indicator operate normally.
Complete a restart test to verify the memory function.
